Science Communicator – Science Centre

Do you love emerging digital technology and working with computers? If you are passionate about sharing your science expertise and want to be part of a dynamic, enthusiastic team that thrives on creating cool science experiences then being a Science Communicator is the right opportunity for you. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in tinkering and technology and work as part of a larger team to support the development of workshops related to coding and technology. They will additionally showcase their presentation skills in the delivery of fun and engaging workshops to primary school children and members of the public in a dynamic way. Successful candidates will have excellent verbal communication skills in both French and English, strong writing skills (English) and superior customer service skills. Experience in public presentations and knowledge of basic computer programming will be considered an asset. Work may involve evenings, weekends and work on public
holidays. This is an 18 month full-time contract position at $1119 bi-weekly.
